Golf
Designed by architect Donald Ross in 1924, and completely renovated by Ron Garl in 1999. The Bradenton Country Club course presents a challenge for golfers of all ages and abilities. Each hole is unique with bunkers and well groomed fairways that follow the natural contours of the land and the occasional water hazard to test your mettle.Our golf course is one of the most beautiful and challenging in the area. The course features beautifully manicured fairways with undulating greens of tift eagle. The greens are a mixture of tift eagle Bermuda, which provide smooth, and firm putting surfaces that roll to a stimp meter speed of 10 to 10.5 on average. There is a driving range with target greens for practicing your skills. Private and group lessons are available from our golf professionals year round. Membership is capped and tee times are not a problem. Unlike increasingly crowded public courses, you're free to enjoy a private and uncrowded round of golf - the way the game was meant to be played, walking or in a golf cart. Our pro shop, staffed by four golf professionals, has everything you need to enjoy the game. In addition to a large selection of golf products, including professional custom club fitting, there are clinics for those just learning and an excellent program to promote junior golf. Tournaments and special events include the annual men's and women's championships as well as purely social golf activities. |
