• Monthly Dues: $476.00 plus tax.
• Membership is for twelve months;
• Trial initiation fee will be applied to permanent membership. FULL FAMILY
• Use of all club facilities by member, spouse and children under the age of 25.
• Initiation fee: $5,000 plus tax, includes one share of stock at $100 that is refundable.
• Monthly Dues: $476.00 plus tax. FULL FAMILY JUNIOR (LEGACY)• This membership category is reserved for sons and daughters under the age of 40, of active members of all categories. Same privileges as Full Family category.
• Initiation fee: $2,500 plus tax. The entire amount of the Initiation Fee must be paid in full no later than two years (24 months) from the time of membership approval. When the initiation fee is paid in full, it will include one share of stock at $100 that is refundable.
• Monthly Dues: $476.00 plus tax. EXECUTIVE• For Junior Member under the age of 40 who do not qualify for Legacy category. Same privileges as Full Family category.
• Initiation fee: $3,750 plus tax. One-half of the Initiation Fee due at time of acceptance with balance due no later than 2 years after acceptance or by age 40, whichever comes first. When the initiation fee is paid in full, it will include one share of stock at $100 that is refundable.
• Monthly Dues: $326.00 plus capital and tax for the first 24 months or until 40th birthday whichever comes first. Afterwhich time the monthly dues increase to $476 per month. International Membership• Use of all club facilities by member, spouse and children under the age of 25.
• Initiation fee: $10,000 plus tax, includes one share of stock at $100 that is refundable.
• Monthly Dues: $476.00 plus tax and capital fee while in the US (minimum six months) and $60 capital fee while residing outside the US
BUSINESS FULL
• This category of membership provides membership privileges, which are identical to Full Family and is offered to no more than five families within the business entity (herein referred to as BE), who are approved by the Board of Directors. This class of membership will be issued in the name of the BE making application, with assignment to no more than five officers, directors or executives (the designees) within the BE and their families. All families will be considered Full Family members. The BE is entitled to vote on club matters as if it were a regular Full Family; that is, one vote.
• The initiation fee shall be $5,000 for the first designee, $2,500 for the second and $3,750 for the third, fourth and fifth.
• This membership must meet the Business Membership Requirements and Restrictions that follow. BUSINESS FULL/SOCIAL• This category of membership provides membership privileges which are identical to Full Family to one family within the BE, with a Social or Tennis Social membership offered to an additional four families within the BE who are approved by the Board of Directors. This class of membership will be issued in the name of the BE making application, with assignment to no more than five officers, directors or executives (the designees) within the BE and their families. One membership will be Full Family and the other memberships will be Social or Tennis Social. The BE is entitled to vote on club matters as if it were a regular Full Family member; that is, one vote.
• The initiation fee shall be $5,000 for the Full Family Designee, $500 for the second and $750 for the third, fourth and fifth.
• This membership must meet the Business Membership Requirements and Restrictions that follow. BUSINESS SOCIAL / TENNIS SOCIAL• This category of membership provides membership privileges, which are identical to Social and Tennis Social, and is offered to no more than five families within the BE, who are approved by the Board of Directors. This class of membership will be issued in the name of the BE making application, with assignment to no more than five officers, directors or executives (the designees) within the BE and their families.
• The initiation fee shall be $1000 for the first designee, $500 for the second and $750 for the third, fourth and fifth.
• This membership must meet the Business Membership Requirements and Restrictions that follow. BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS To qualify for a Business Membership of any type, a Business Entity (BE) must meet the following criteria:• It must be a legally formed business entity (corporation, P.A., L.L.C., etc) that was not specifically formed to apply for a Business Membership.
• It must have a legitimate on-going business purpose.
• Along with its application for membership, it must include the relevant portion of its most recent federal tax return, indicating gross revenues greater than $100,000 or a pretax profit greater than $50,000 or a net worth greater than $100,000. However, at the BEs option it may present a letter from a CPA certifying that this criteria has been met.
• On an annual basis, not later than nine (9) months after the close of its fiscal year, the BE must present a federal tax return or a CPA letter indicating that the financial requirements in paragraph 1.c. above have been met.
• If, for two consecutive years, the BE does not meet the criteria in paragraph 1.c. above, the club, at its option, may withdraw the membership. If the membership is withdrawn, the club will have no liability with reference to initiation fee, dues, and assessments paid. If the club does not receive certification of this criteria in paragraph 1.c. above on a timely basis, the club will consider the criteria not met and act accordingly.
• A Business Membership is not transferable to a designee upon termination of the designees association with the BE holding the membership.
• Only the individuals designated by the BE are considered club members. All other affiliates of the BE may use the club only as guests.
• Applicable monthly dues will be charged to each designee, current food minimums will be assigned to each designee and each designee must pay applicable assessments authorized by the Board and/or membership.
• A BE membership may be changed from person to person within the BE for a transfer fee of $1,500 per transaction for a Social or Tennis Social designee and $2,500 for a Full Family designee, and approval of the club.
• Any club assessments, dues and minimums are the ultimate responsibility of the BE.
All membership categories are required to pay a $35 monthly contribution to capital expenses in addition to the monthly dues. FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUM• $800 - Family Membership
• $400 - Single Members
The annual food minimum should be used from September 1st through August 31st of each year. Any unused minimum will be billed on the September statement. EXTENDED PAYMENT PLAN• An applicant for Full Family membership may elect to pay the initiation fee on a payment plan. Half of the initiation fee is required to activate the account. The remainder of the fee can be paid in one or two annual installments. There will be a $500.00 administration fee per year for financing.
• A promissory note will be completed and signed by both husband and wife who choose to pay the initiation fee using the payment plan. MEMBER APPLICANT PROCEDURES• An application for membership may be obtained by the applicant or the member sponsor at the Country Club business office, Tuesday through Friday.
• The completed application and the names of two sponsors should then be returned to the Membership Director and General Manager for review by the Membership Committee.
• The Membership Committee will interview the applicant, and forward to the Board of Directors for approval.
• The Membership Committee will have the responsibility for the first approval of the application, and the Board will serve as the second and final approval.
• Upon final approval by the Board of Directors, the applicant will be notified and asked to contact the Club office for final administrative processing. The applicant then becomes a member of the Bradenton Country Club.
• A promissory note must be signed by all applicants (husband and wife) who request the Extended Payment Plan, and by all Legacy and Non-Legacy categories.
• Member applicants who choose the Extended Payment Plan, and applicants who qualify for the Legacy or Non-Legacy Membership Plans, are obligated to pay the full initiation fee appropriate to their category, as stated in the promissory note. The full amount of the appropriate initiation fee is due and payable even in the event the member terminates membership during the payment period. Promissory notes are not cancelled. |
